The best maternity photographs are made between weeks 28 and 34. Earlier and the bump does not read on camera; later and standing for ninety minutes stops being pleasant. We schedule around that window and around your energy, not around ours.
Every session includes access to our gown library — flowing chiffons, fitted jersey, structured couture pieces and traditional Kanjivaram drapes, in sizes that actually fit a third-trimester body. Hair and makeup can be arranged at the studio so you arrive and simply sit down.
In the studio we work with a single sculpting light against a dark ground — the look most of our clients come for. Outdoors we shoot the Anaiyur fields and Vaigai riverside at golden hour, which flatters everyone and needs no retouching to do it.
